I am currently a high school student based in Dubai and I'm interested in pursuing a future in Data Science/Business Analytics.

For awhile now (since beginning high school), I've been aware of the need for a "spike" in order to be admitted to Ivy League institutions, and would like some advice so I can further amplify my curre 鈥�

I'm a sophomore wondering what I can do to make myself a stronger applicant (especially during quarantine)! I have a 3.85 UW & 4.26 W GPA and will have taken 9-10 APs by senior year. I've been playing 鈥�

I always feel stressed when I have nothing to do. What are some things to do while stuck at home? Bonus points if its something that looks good on college applications.

Are Niche.com college rankings reliable?

Should I apply to Ivy League schools in high school? I am taking community college courses so they won't transfer to privates, right? Because of that, should I do my undergrad at a public school, then 鈥�

I've asked similar questions before but once again have enough karma to ensure an expert answer. I'd just like to have a holistic look at where I'm at right now so that I can best plan for the coming 鈥�

What are some other ways I can stand out for UC colleges, how will our GPA's be calculated if many schools are establishing the pas/fail thing instead of letter grades.

I went to a charter school (going to the charter school for 3 hours each day with coursework done online) and graduated a year earlier than my expected graduation date with a B+ GPA. How much will hav 鈥�

I am a junior (class of 2021) and here are my stats!

- unfinalized GPA: weighted=4.18/ unweighted: 3.97 (only 1 A-)

- taking 8 APS (centered around science AP)

- have not taken any AP tests yet b/c I am 鈥�

Haven't taken SAT but I have gotten over 1500 on practice tests

or does it simply show all colleges regardless of their quality?

In the mail I had got a letter from this place and I'm currently trying to figure whether or not it's a scam.

Or is this mostly for high school students wanting to get into college?

I have taken both the SAT and ACT and received fairly even scores (1570 and a 36 respectively). I have no idea which one to submit. I鈥檓 inclined to go with the 36 but I was wondering if there are any 鈥�
