Need Help Choosing Between Colleges for Business/Entrepreneurship
Answered

Hi everyone!

I鈥檝e been accepted to several great colleges, but I鈥檓 having a hard time deciding which one to attend. My intended majors are Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or Human Resources Management.

So far, I鈥檝e been accepted to:

Moravian University

York College of Pennsylvania

Roosevelt University

Loyola University

Oakland University

Johnson & Wales University

Montclair State University

Regis University

I鈥檓 still waiting to hear back from Tulane University.

Right now, I鈥檓 leaning toward Moravian University because it鈥檚 close to home, has a beautiful campus, and offers an amazing tech program 鈥 they provide students with a MacBook, iPad, Apple Pencil, and Apple Watch that you get to keep after graduation.

However, I want to make sure I choose the best fit overall. I鈥檓 looking for a college with:

A strong academic program in business

An affordable cost of attendance

A friendly, welcoming campus environment

Great student outcomes

Support services

Internship opportunities

Study abroad program - not necessary but it would be nice in case I decide to study abroad

It doesn鈥檛 necessarily have to be close to home. If anyone has insights or experiences with these schools (especially for business majors), I鈥檇 really appreciate your advice!

Thanks so much!

hey! congrats on that STACK of acceptances!

i can't tell you which one you should pick, since these universities will be different fits for different students! what i can suggest:

if you plan on getting a masters, doctorate, med school, law school, etc etc, money should probably be a larger factor when choosing an undergrad school.

I would also recommend visiting (IN PERSON) all your top schools if possible. thats what helped me narrow down my college search. lots of schools look really great on the surface (and are great!) but just arent whats best for you, and i find that becomes obvious when visiting campus. i also recommend talking to alumni or current students about daily life there.

good luck and awesome job !

Moravian sounds like a great fit, especially since it鈥檚 close to home and you already like the campus. Just compare costs, internships, and career opportunities before deciding. The free tech is a nice bonus, but it shouldn鈥檛 be the main reason you choose.
