Is Putting "Prefer Not to Say" Race On College Apps a Good Strategy?
I am a Indian high school senior with a 5.05 GPA and 1540 SAT planning on applying to a few T20 school, and I've heard that Asians in general have a disadvantage when it comes to college admissions. Should I put "prefer not to say" as my race, or is this a red flag to college admission officers?

I'm going to be honest, if you're full Indian, your last name might give it away anyway, so there's probably no point in trying to hide it. I have a very common Asian last name, so even it if I put "prefer not to say" they'd know unless I happened to be mixed or something.
