what do i put on my apps if i am egyptian?
hi! i was just wondering what ethnicity to put on my apps if i am egyptian. on the common app, there's no option for other, but under white it says "white (or of middle eastern origin)". idk if egyptians are middle eastern though bc we are north african. also for other things like the sat and act it doesn't say the "of middle eastern origin part" under "white" and idk if north africans are acc considered african and again there's no option for "other" so idk what to put. african/black? white? idk pls help馃檹馃檹

I looked it up, and this is what came up.
Egyptians are considered North African, and the user is unsure if they are also considered Middle Eastern for categorization purposes.
The "Middle Eastern origin" clarification is present on the Common App under "White" but absent on other forms like the SAT/ACT.
