I am a junior in high school and have taken 3 AP classes. I am enrolled to take 4 next year. How many AP classes should one take to have a better resum茅 for Univerisity of Texas at Austin?

There is no set number. Also do you live in Texas? Rather than taking AP classes, Onramps classes offered by UT Austin would look better. Also consider what major you want to apply to. If you want to major in biology, taking and getting a 5 in AP Government might not help that much compared to taking and getting a 5 in AP Biology. Don't stress yourself out, take what will help and support your major/interests. I hope that helped.

@Solemn basically answered correctly. Since UT Austin reviews applications holistically, there's not going to be a set number of AP classes that you need to hit for each student. Some students might take fewer APs than you and get accepted and some may take more and get denied. It's going to depend on the strength of the rest of your profile. Generally though, the more rigorous course load you can take, while still maintaining good grades, the better. I would imagine 7 APs would probably make you at least competitive with the majority of students
