are the chances of acceptance for internatinoal students the same as for domestic?
Answered

If I have 1450 SAT I, 35 ACT, nearly all 800 in SAT II, I am an A-level student with 4As in AS and expected 4A in A2, and 5A 3As in O levels. 75 to 100% ECs in tier A and B. With these stats what is my chance of getting into Stanford, MIT, Cornell, Upenn.

It's my understanding that the admission rate for international students is slightly less than students living in the US and many schoolscdo not offer need-based financial aid to international students. However, there is no separate criteria for these students and you can still e accepted if you meet the required credentials.

You should also consider that these are some of the more prestigious/sought-after schools and so your academics should be outstanding in order to compete with similar profiles from domestic students with a greater chance of acceptance. Best of luck!

Generally speaking, yes, it is harder for international students to be accepted compared to domestic applicants. If you are applying for financial aid then it is likely it will be even more difficult for you to be accepted.

As for your chances of getting accepted at those schools, I would use the chancing results you get from this site. I think asking those "chance-me" type questions are against the community guidelines.
