Does what I choose for my alternate major for Purdue on the Common App affect my chances for admission?
I am interested in the pre-med track and thus many of my extracurriculars and classes are geared toward biology and chemistry. While my first choice of major for Purdue on the Common App fits well with this, my alternate major is Atmospheric Science. I am genuinely interested in this topic, but very few of the classes I've taken and none of my extracurriculars apply to Atmospheric Science due to limited space on my schedule. Will this decrease my chances of admission at Purdue?
