Maybe I鈥檓 just being a little paranoid but in my Junior year of high school, I鈥檝e gotten a C (75) in NC Math 3 Honors and a D (60) In Chemistry Honors.
I didn鈥檛 need Chemistry to pass or anything, so it was technically an elective than a core class. I have no idea why I was taking it, but I still failed immensely.
I鈥檝e gotten all A鈥檚 throughout Freshman and Senior years and I鈥檝e taken a mixture of honors/on level class (1 AP in Junior). Will those harshly affect my GPA and end up tanking it? Also, will colleges look at the grades and think something bad? Thank you.
To put it bluntly: you'll be fine. One or two lower grades is normal, and I believe a lot of colleges actually appreciate that! Sometimes you bite off more than you can chew, especially in an Honors or AP class, and college admissions officers definitely understand that. I wouldn't worry about it too much :)
