I am a rising senior and my current UC GPA is around a 3.6. It definitely would have been higher but I was dealing with a lot of personal issues my sophmore year which causes a significant drop in my GPA.

My dream UC school would be UC Berkeley or UCLA, but I would also love to attend UCSB or UCSD. However, with a 3.6 GPA I feel like getting into any of those UC is out of reach for me.

I am heavily relying on my essay; as I am a very confident writer, and I have multiple people that will look over my essays. I am also very confident in my extracurriculars as they demonstrate my leadership capabilities and =relation to my intended major: business/finance. My course rigor is also something I am hoping makes up for my lacking GPA. I will have taken 7 AP classes by the end of my senior year, 17-18 dual enrollment classes granting me my AA along with my high school diploma, and two honors classes.

Do you have a chance at getting into my dream UC? I will definitely still apply but I wondering if I even have a chance...
