Do I try for more extra-curriculars?

I'm currently a sophomore without any APs or college courses. In my junior year, I'm planning to take AP Biology and AP Language and Composition. (I'm not taking more APs because of the small amount of courses offered at my school.)

According to the chancing calculator, I need stronger extra-curriculars. I already have a pretty strong fall sport, which takes 3 hours daily during its season. I also have projects and clubs that kick in later in the school year. I'm worried that trying to take another extra-curricular will be too difficult for me in addition to AP Bio, AP Lang (I am quite bad at writing), and my sport.

Is it better to try for another, probably weak, extra-curricular and risk everything else, or to focus on AP courses at the expense of my extra-curricular profile?
