AP CSP OR AP CSA

Hello! I don鈥檛 know if I should take AP comp sci principle or go straight into AP comp sci A. I want to take principles because I don鈥檛 really know much about coding and I want to start learning but I heard that most colleges don鈥檛 give credit for ap csp and that it鈥檚 kind of like a waste of time. Pls give advice!!

If you aren't a senior, I recommend you taking AP CSP first to test out your skills and learn, it could also help your weighted gpa since it is AP, but if you are a senior without much time left in HS, then take AP CSA if you need the credit, but if not, take AP CSP, it is much easier

AP CSP gives credit, but colleges generally give more for AP CSA, you should also check individual colleges to see what APs they accept and which ones they don't
