Does your school have a robotics teams, if yes join because you can ask to shadow at their jobs since most are engineers architects and computer scientists. Also apply to Carleton summer program because a lot of my friends loved it, and careful when applying to summer programs especially ivy league ones because most are money scams and those "credits" won't ever be taken by any college. U seem to be interested in engineering but depending on your state you could be a registered nurse assistant and working by 16, and having a professional certificate is an instant boost. Also if you live in city just go volunteer for urban planning projects and email your city. Also life hack go on Google and search "(dream college) dean of engineering" and follow them on LinkedIn and when you follow them write a little note about yourself and to set up a meeting with them. I've so far even gotten followed back by 2 presidents of colleges on my current list of where I want to attend.

edit: summer programs are really kind of a waste if your paying more then 500$ i swear most are scams, lastly plz search for volunteering and internships cuz that's what really matter. ALSO build your LinkedIn. some things you can look into are art museums, park and rec boards, libraries, city council, and honestly any non-profit organization you can think of is looking for volunteers plz reach out instead of waiting.
