private boarding school essay
Hi! I'm an 8th grader applying to Exeter, Andover, Lawrenceville, Deerfield, and Choate schools. I have been very skeptical lately as to starting my essay. I have some ideas for essays but my parents disagree with them. It would be great if someone who has been through this process or attended or has attended these schools could help me pick a few subjects.
1. The time I was verbally attacked with racist words
2. My volleyball experience and how I grew from it
3. Best piece of advice I've heard

Hey there @kaivpia! I don't attend a boarding school, but I do got to a private high school, so I thought I'd weigh in. I would suggest the third option since it seems like you could frame it in an interesting way and would be different than other essays.
