Stanford diversity short answer
Hi guys! I'm currently struggling with writing the conclusion to the 'diversity' question that asks "Please describe what aspects of your life experiences, interests and character would help you make a distinctive contribution as an undergraduate to Stanford University."
I'm wondering if it's supposed to be more like a "Why Stanford?" and to include specific clubs/professors that made me pick Stanford for EA, or more about what I would personally contribute to the school.

Make sure your essay is about you, your passions, and your dreams. The essay is how the admissions officers "meet" you. Don't rewrite your resume in your essay; they've already seen that. Tell them things not visible on your resume and transcript, etc. What do you want them to know about you?

I think it's asking you what you would contribute to the school, but I think including things about your pre-existing interests is fine. However, I don't think it's really a 'why us' essay, so I would avoid mentioning the professors or clubs that made you interested in the school and instead focus on past experiences and interests.
