Since Cornell (Ithaca, NY) requires two years of living on campus, I assume it鈥檚 less likely to get room preferences met for both years. I have read on Reddit posts that it鈥檚 actually somewhat easy to get a single dorm, and dorms are pretty big, but I鈥檝e heard contradicting stories as well.
I think the Cornell website only says that they have single dorms, but doesn鈥檛 give information on what percent of rooms are singles and past year demands for singles, etc.
Especially with hall constructions and unavailability, I鈥檓 not sure if I can get a single dorm.
There are also single-gender halls. I鈥檓 a male student.
