Can someone please clarify this UPenn Supplementary Question?

Hi all,

I'm planning to ED to UPenn this fall.

UPenn has asked for its supplementary essay: Write a short thank-you note to someone you have not yet thanked and would like to acknowledge. (We encourage you to share this note with that person, if possible, and reflect on the experience!) (150-200 words)

I'm wondering if we need to include a written reflection in the 200 words, or is it something that they just want us to do for fun?

I would stick closely to the instructions and not assume anything. The instructions do not mention singling out your own refection of the thank you note.
