How to Write a College Essay about a Major you are not Passionate or Knowledgeable On
Hello, I am currently working on my college applications to transfer to a UC after community college. I had procrastinated on choosing my major and ended up just settling for Economics/Accounting because I knew that I could make a good income with that major. I am now planned to transfer in Fall 2024, but I have no experience or passion for my major. I am not sure what to write for the required Transfer Question for UCs. The question is:
"Please describe how you have prepared for your intended major, including your readiness to succeed in your upper-division courses once you enroll at the university."
I am not sure what to write because I have no experience with my major besides taking some business summer classes and I have no passion for my major too. What should I do and how can I write a good essay? Thank you.
