My family doesn't have any pressure for me to get into any Ivy League schools and such, so I'm not aiming for that. But I am aiming to get into a generally great college/university and do so (hopefully) on a full-ride scholarship. I spent my freshman year getting good grades while also balancing a lot of extracurricular commitments. During the course selection period, because I was worried about the business of the extracurriculars and AP and Honors classes, I decided to take the classes I was required to, and chemistry as a science of my choice instead of taking AP and honors classes this sophomore year. I also plan on getting further involved with the clubs and sports that I am a part of, as well as the community where I go to school, but I'm worried that because I chose a more "regular" route with classes my sophomore year, that it has significantly lowered my chances of achieving the goals I stated before.
