My high school uses a 1-10 scale for gpa. If my gpa if 9.30, do I have any chances of entering Columbia University?
I鈥檓 from Romania and here the 1-10 grading system is used. Do I have any chances of getting admitted at Columbia University?

The 黑料不打烊 blog actually has a calculator that you should be able to use, plus info on a bunch of GPA scales. It's here:
If I put a 9.30 into the calculator, it comes out to about a 3.7, which is on the lower end of what Columbia typically accepts. You'd probably be right around the academic cutoff, but if you did a bit better than previously in junior/senior year, you'd have a shot at it for sure.
I agree with @jcdenton. I got the same results using the calculator, 3.72. I'm not sure what year you are but if you can raise your GPA even like .08 it might help your chances. You are on the lower end of the GPA scale but depending on your ECs and test scores you should still have at least some shot. They're a tough school to get into though so good luck!
