SAT retake
Hi,
I want to retake the SAT, but how does this work? Do colleges ask you for all your scores or only your highest one? Also, I've heard about superscore but I don't really know what that is.

"Superscoring" is when you would pick your highest test scores in a section from multiple different sittings. For example, say you got a 600 in the English portion and a 540 in the Math portion of your first SAT, but a 520 in the English and a 600 in the Math for your second, you would take the 600 in English from the first SAT and the 600 in Math from your second SAT. Therefore, instead of the 1140 on your first and the 1120 on the second, your "superscore" would be a 1200. I'm not entirely sure how many colleges accept that, but I do know that more colleges will superscore the SAT rather than the ACT.
