what as a freshman can I do to prepareAnswered
I want to be able to go into UC Berkeley and join a summer program or activity but i cant join anything what cant I do currently to look good for my admissions letter.

You can start by volunteering to do community service,you can apply for a job in your town or even do outdoor activities. Just remember to have evidence of your activities. Since you are in your freshman year, I would advise you to not stress yourself. You can start looking for internships and summer programs for the next summer. I would recommend Immerse and oxford scholastica; the give you great opportunities to explore your interests in a pre-college way and offer a letter of recommendation.
