How to write an update letter to colleges

I (senior) have a few achievements and other extracurricular updates I want to communicate to colleges that haven't released decisions yet (UF, FSU, UGA). This ISN'T a letter of continued interest, so I don't know exactly how to frame it, although I know it should be short and sweet. Please advise on format/substance and where I should send the letters (to which email).

I first applied for my son and the email was changed so I would like to know what to do so that it doesn't repeat again

Here's a format that I recommend:

1. After an opener like "I hope that this email finds you well," write a brief intro that states that you are writing to the college to give them a few extracurricular updates.

2. Explain each update using short, separate paragraphs.

3. Conclude your letter by thanking admissions officers for reading it and reiterating your interest in the school.

You should send this letter to the general admissions email or contact form at each school. If you cannot find one on the admissions page, you can call the admissions office to request it. Note that while your letter will only benefit your application, admissions officers may not consider it due to their admissions policies or the letter coming in too late.

Hope this helps!
