My country doesn't have a GPA system for high school. Answered
In my country university selection is done through Advanced level exam results. Can I apply using those results or should I do SAT when applying to U.S. universities? Also what should I do about GPA?(we don't have a GPA system for high school)

Hi @brimax!
Many universities in the US are test-optional i.e., do not require test scores. You need to check university websites to see which ones are test-optional.
Your advanced level exam results will be evaluated as a part of your coursework and GPA. If your school doesn't use GPA, then in what form do you get your grades?
Usually universities take your grades and translate it into their own GPA system as every high school/pre-college institution has a different way of weighting their scores and GPA.

We have term tests at the end of each term(overall 6 term tests at the end of 2 yrs). Above 75 is considered as A grade. So in the report card 3 subjects we are doing and the marks we got for each are stated.(ex-chemistry:85 so on) At the end of 2 yrs, A/L exam is held by the government and you are selected to the universities according to the z-score you get. High school marks are not considered here and selection is done solely based on the result we get for Advanced Level exam.
