Summer programs that give aid but I could also get into with a relatively low GPA (3.4)?

Hi guys, I have become very interested in summer programs but have monetary limitations... I have a low GPA of 3.36, but have had a decent upward trend the past semester. I was hoping some of you guys may have had experience applying to such programs with a >3.5 GPA?

I will say that鈥檚 a bit hard if you want to get into some prestigious summer programs, although it isn鈥檛 possible, I鈥檒l say it鈥檚 better to improve more your grades first, and then apply to some good ones, and you also need to know the type of summer programs you are interested in, for example STEM, humanities, etc.

I鈥檒l say the pre college program, but sometimes they can be a bit expensive, though you should always check if there is scholarship or financial aid available

Thank you for the advice, I will certainly try to raise my grades first, but as a 10th grader, should there be much of a rush to getting into those?
