AP classes you take are put into context with the number of AP classes that your school lets you take. Ideally, you should take as many AP courses as you can while still maintaining a B or A. If you want to talk about whether or not Bs will look bad on your GPA then you have to think about which school you are trying to get into. For the highest level of schools, you will need to focus on getting mostly As. For moderately competitive schools, a B or two will be totally fine.

AP classes will not affect your chances of admission, but if you got a B in a critical subject, then I would say that you should not send those scores; AP courses only show that you can study challenging courses too, but it doesn't guarantee your admission.
