What鈥檚 a good unweighted and weighted GPA I should aim for right now I. Have a 4.5 weighted and a 3.8 unweighted. If I wanted to attend a top school like Purdue with 20-40 percent acceptance rate what鈥檚 a good gpa for those top tier schools.I took 2 Ap sophomore year and I鈥檓 taking 3 this year and the rest have all been honors

That gpa is very solid for Purdue. The average for Purdue students is a 3.69 unweighted. As long as you are taking all honors and all available AP courses, the admissions officer will notice the rigor of each class and value your application accordingly. Keep up your gpa and with strong essays / SAT or ACT scores, you have a good chance at a top 25 school.
