I'm not completely sure what I want to major in but I know I want to major in something engineering or computer science. I think one way to boost my application and help me figure out what I want to do is to gain some experience through an internship or some kind of program. I have had a hard time finding something near me or affordable. I am open to exploring more expensive camps but only if I was assured it was worth the cost. I live in Florida near Tampa, more specifically Bradenton if you are familiar with the area, but I have family in Orlando I could stay with if I had to commute if it were over the summer or something. Anything near Tampa or Orlando are ideal but if there are good national programs that provide housing I would consider that too.
Hi, so I'm not very familiar with Florida, as a I live all the way across the country from Florida, but I was able to find a couple websites offering internships in Orlando and different summer programs in Florida for engineering and computer science. I don't know how old you are, but if you are over 16 y/o, then I would recommend signing up for a LinkedIn account or Indeed.com so you can see jobs/internships available in your area and you can choose what type of field your looking for, so for you, that would be engineering and/or computer science. Here are some websites you might be interested in checking out, hope this helps:
