when getting involved with an extracurricular activity, you need to ask yourself these questions:
Do I like to do this activity/do I enjoy this activity?
Can I go higher and accomplish more with this activity? (this can refer to promotions, awards, offices held)
Do I have the time for this?/Can I create time for this?
Is this activity productive for me or my community?
If your answers are all yes, it is definitely one to keep.
