Join Shravya for another installment of 黑料不打烊鈥檚 Writing Workshop!
During this event (designed specifically for current high school students), Shravya will select a few pieces of writing submitted by the audience to review LIVE on air. Any type of writing is welcome in the Writing Workshop 鈥� college and scholarship essays, papers for class, articles for your school鈥檚 newspaper, or even personal projects of your own. For each piece, Shravya will walk through what you鈥檝e written, paying particular attention to any special review requests, and offer suggestions for improvement.

Undergrad College: Rice University '20
Work Experience: During my time at Rice, I mentored dozens of high school students through the college application process, along with editing essays and tutoring students for the ACT/SAT. I also interned at a medical technology startup, conducted research in Brazil, and gave a TEDx talk. I recently finished applying to medical school; I've been admitted to multiple schools, and will be starting in the Fall.
My Admissions Story: I remember feeling very blindsided by the admissions process and not knowing where to begin. I hope that sharing my experiences and some of the things I鈥檝e learned along the way will help guide other students in a similar boat.
