Hey, so I love cooking and I'm thinking of joining a culinary class at my high school. Do you guys think this could help my college app in any way, especially if I want to major in something related to nutrition or hospitality? Does anyone have any experience with this and can shed some light on whether it鈥檚 worth squeezing into my schedule?
Hey there! It's great to hear about your passion for cooking. Joining a culinary class could definitely enhance your college application, particularly for majors related to nutrition or hospitality. Your involvement in such a class would not only show your interest in the field but also your practical experience and commitment.
Colleges often look for students who have pursued their interests with dedication. If you鈥檙e able to, maybe you could even take it a step further by organizing a community event or a project through your culinary class, which would highlight your leadership skills and initiative. My suggestion is to go for it 鈥 it sounds like it aligns well with your interests and could add a unique flavor to your application!
