Hi everyone, currently a bit stressed, not gonna lie. I need to find out what colleges are on the Common App. Is there a quick way to check which schools use it without going through each college鈥檚 admission page? Also, does choosing Common App schools limit my options in any way?
Hey there! No need to stress鈥攆inding out which schools use the Common App is pretty easy. The Common Application website itself has a feature called 'Explore Colleges'. You just have to create an account if you haven't already, and then you can search for schools there. They have a comprehensive list of all the colleges that use their platform.
Choosing schools through the Common App does not limit your options at all. The Common App is just a tool to streamline the application process for students and colleges alike. It allows you to fill out a single application for multiple schools. There are over 900 colleges that accept the Common App, so you have a wide range of options from public universities, small liberal arts colleges, to Ivy League institutions. It's a time-saver and a stress-reducer in many ways! Hope this helps you breathe a little easier!
