Question for the group: Is CUNY part of the Common App system, or do they have their own application portal? Anyone else applying to CUNY schools and figured this out?
The City University of New York (CUNY) system does not participate in the Common Application. Instead, CUNY schools use their own application portal, which you can find on their official website. This CUNY-specific application allows you to apply to multiple CUNY colleges with one application. Make sure to check the deadlines and individual college requirements when you fill out the application, as they can vary from school to school within the CUNY system. Additionally, while it's one application for the entire CUNY system, you can select up to six colleges that you're interested in attending. Be diligent about reviewing each section to ensure that all information is accurate and complete before submitting.
