So I鈥檓 putting together my college list and San Diego State University is on it, but I鈥檓 not sure about the application process. Does SDSU use the Common Application, or will I need to prepare a separate application exclusively for them?
Hey there! Great question 鈥 it's super important to know each college's application process when you're putting together your list. San Diego State University does not use the Common Application. SDSU, along with other public universities in the California State University system, uses the Cal State Apply system.
You'll need to create an account on Cal State Apply and submit your application through that portal. Make sure to pay attention to SDSU's specific requirements, like any supplemental essays or materials they might ask for. And of course, keep track of those deadlines! Crafting a separate application gives you a wonderful chance to tailor your responses specifically for SDSU.
As you're working through your applications, just remember that each university might have unique questions or requirements, so always double-check. Good luck with your applications!
