Hey everyone, I've been checking out The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), and I really like the campus size and the academic atmosphere they have. Can anyone suggest colleges that have a similar feel? I'm aiming to create a diverse list and I would appreciate if you could include why they feel comparable. Thanks!
Hi there! It's great that you've identified what you like about TCNJ. For a similar size and academic vibe, you might want to consider looking at schools like Elon University in North Carolina or Truman State University in Missouri.
Both schools have a student body size that is not too large, fostering a sense of community like TCNJ. Elon is particularly known for its engaged student body and beautiful campus, a lot like TCNJ's cohesive and welcoming atmosphere. Truman State, on the other hand, offers a strong liberal arts education with a focus on student success, akin to TCNJ's academic rigor.
Don't hesitate to visit, attend a virtual information session, or reach out to current students at these schools to get a more personal sense of whether they match the 'vibe' you're looking for. Best of luck with your search!
