Hi there, I was just wondering about the total number of members in the National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS). Is it a really selective organization or is the membership pretty widespread?
Hi! The National Society of High School Scholars (NSHSS) is not considered a very selective organization. While they do set some minimum academic requirements for joining, many students are able to meet these criteria. As a result, their membership base is quite large and widespread geographically: since the NSHSS was founded about 20 years ago, there have been over 2 million students across 170 countries who've joined.
