How do I check my class rank? Does my high school usually provide this information, or do I need to calculate it myself? Is it something I can find on my transcript, or should I talk to a counselor?
To check your class rank, you should first look at your high school transcript, as many schools include this information there. If you can't find it on your transcript or you're unsure about what you see, you might want to reach out to your high school counselor or a school administrator. They can help clarify and provide the necessary information about your class rank.
Keep in mind that not all schools calculate or report class rank, so it's possible that your school may not provide this information. In this case, you can ask your counselor if they have any alternative methods of comparing your academic performance to your peers, such as a percentile or decile ranking. It's always a good idea to communicate with your school's administration to get accurate and up-to-date information.
