Hi friends! I've been researching about Stanford's application process and wanted to know if they conduct interviews as part of the evaluation. Do they do alumni interviews like other prestigious schools, or is their process different? Thanks for any information you can provide!
Hello! Stanford does indeed have an interview process as part of their application evaluation. Much like other prestigious universities, Stanford conducts alumni interviews. It's important to note, however, that interviews aren't always guaranteed for every applicant due to factors like location and availability of alumni interviewers. If available, you'll be offered an interview after you have submitted your application, and it will be arranged with a local alum.
The interview will typically be informal, providing you a chance to share more about yourself and also learn about the interviewer's experiences at Stanford. Although interviews aren't a required part of the application, they can be a great way to make a personal connection and potentially strengthen your application. Best of luck with your Stanford application!
