Could any track stars or buffs give me the lowdown on the best HBCUs for track and field programs? I鈥檇 love to join a team with a strong coaching staff and excellent training facilities. Insight into their scholarships would be a bonus!
Hey there! Historically, schools like Howard University and North Carolina A&T have strong track and field programs. They take their athletics seriously and tend to have good facilities and coaching staff. Another one to look out for is Hampton University; their athletes often perform well in competitions.
In terms of scholarships, remember that scholarship availability can vary greatly from year to year, so it's quite important to directly contact the coach of the track and field program or visit the school's official athletics page for the most current information.
Don't hesitate to reach out to the schools' recruitment offices鈥攖hey're usually more than happy to share what they offer to lure talents like you! Wishing you luck in finding the right fit and hitting the ground running鈥攑un intended!
