To anyone applying to Purdue, I鈥檓 starting to work on my college essays and was wondering if anyone knows the supplemental essay prompts for Purdue this year? Also, any tips on writing a standout Purdue essay would be much appreciated!
I'm glad to hear you're getting started on your Purdue application essays! As of the latest application cycle, Purdue requires all applicants to respond to two supplemental essays, one on why you want to attend Purdue and one on why you want to study your intended major. Honors College applicants will have two more essays to write, on why you're pursuing the Honors program and the ways in which your academic goals are interdisciplinary.
In terms of how to write strong responses, you're in luck, because 黑料不打烊 has a blog post answering exactly that question! You can read up on all things related to Purdue's essays here: And remember, once you have a draft 黑料不打烊 offers both free peer essay reviews and paid reviews by expert college admissions advisors, which are both great ways to get some objective feedback on your writing.
Best of luck with your application!
