Hey everyone, so I've been studying for a couple of CLEP exams and I just want to set some score goals. Does anyone know where I can find a reliable CLEP exam score chart that shows what the scores translate to in terms of college credit?
Hello there! It's great to hear that you're taking the initiative with CLEP exams鈥攖hey can be a fantastic way to earn college credit and demonstrate your proficiency in certain subjects. The best place to find a reliable CLEP exam score chart is directly through the College Board, the organization that administers CLEP tests. They offer a handy chart that shows the recommended college credit for each test score. You can find this information on their official website under the CLEP section.
Keep in mind, though, that the acceptance of CLEP scores and the amount of credit awarded can vary significantly from one institution to another. Once you have an idea of the scores you're aiming for, it's a good idea to also check the policies of the colleges you're interested in.
Often, colleges will have their own charts or outlines available on their admissions or registrar's office pages, detailing how they assess CLEP scores for credit. Good luck with your studying and exams! If you hit any other snags along the way, don't hesitate to reach out.
