I'm kinda confused about the application process for California State Universities. Do Cal States accept the Common App, or is there a different system we need to use to apply to these schools? I want to apply to a few but I'm not sure if I should be looking for a separate application portal or something.
Hello there! I'm glad you're asking questions about the application process. The California State Universities (Cal States) do not use the Common Application. Instead, they have their own centralized system called Cal State Apply. This system is designed for applicants to submit a single application to multiple Cal State campuses. You'll find that it's quite user-friendly!
When you're ready to apply, visit the Cal State Apply website, create an account, and you can start the process from there. Be sure to check the deadlines for each campus you're interested in, as they can vary, and remember to gather all the necessary information you might need, like your transcript and any test scores, before starting your application. Best of luck with your applications!
