Journalism Major

Hey,

I am a junior this year and want to Major in Journalism. My long time goal is to become a News Anchor. I also want to leave my home state of Indiana and specifically move into the New England area. Please help and give me suggestions on schools or maybe even states I should look into.

Thank you

Do you prefer a big city environment for college or would you also like to go to smaller towns?

Syracuse has one of the best journalism programs in the country. They鈥檙e also located in the Northeast, so you could make connections up in New England pre-grad.

There's Boston University and Northeastern University if you're looking for something prestigious. If you're not, there's also Syracuse University, Emerson College, and University of Massachusetts Amherst (all around 50% acceptance rate) For a safety school I heard that Southern New Hampshire University had a decent journalism program as well.
