School recommendations for me???
Hello, I'm a 16-year-old junior, and I'm looking to pursue a film career in the future, either as a cinematographer or screenwriter (still deciding)
I'm looking for any college that fits my current stats
- 3.5 GPA (as of end of sophomore year)
- Taking 6 IB classes (3 HL, 3 SL)
- Located in either California, New York, or Texas (my home state), but would prefer California for better job opportunities
- Haven't taken an SAT or ACT yet, but based on my 10th-grade PSAT score, I got 900
I'm planning to get better and build a more stable portfolio, if you can give me any recommendations for good film programs in college, I would highly appreciate it
UC Davis, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Barbara, Cornell, and Harvard are all good target options for your major.

I highly recommend using the AI assistant here on Collegevine so you can put in your specific preferences to get a narrower list of great fits. Tip: it will give a list of some options and be sure to ask for some more options. Then it will give you some more. Ask again. Ask this several times until you have a good list to research.
