Picking a school
I am a AP and honors student with a 3.8 GPA and 2 ECs. I have to pay for my college without the help of my parents. I always loved LSU growing up but I dont know now that it is the best fit for me even though it is still my dream school. University of Arkansas. is also a really good school and it seems to be a good fit for what I want. But LSU is still my dream school. Where should I go?
Apply for both! It's always a good idea to reach out to your dream school. Also, let the admissions team know you are paying on your own. The FAPSA can help with loans, applying to every scholarship is also a good idea, and asking family, maybe even start a fundraiser. Look at schools that have the major you want, the location, weather, and people. Don't limit yourself.
