BS/MD/DO and pre-med safety, target and reach list creation
I need help creating a list of colleges with strong programs for BS/MD/DO/ pre-medicine by COA, out-of-state acceptance criteria, student-teacher ratio, and ranking. I prefer medium-sized schools, focussed on academics. I have an unweighted GPA of 4, ACT 35, and am very involved inside and outside of school with leadership roles in several clubs and organizations. I lean towards schools that offer strong research opportunities, internships, scholarships, and financial aid to help build a very strong foundation for medical school. Student life is also very important to me. I love schools that have a very friendly campus and tons of opportunities to get involved. If anyone could help me out with my list, I'd be so appreciative! Thank you!
I don't know if they have pre-med, likely not, but I am super excited to apply to Delaware Valley University. They have some big merit scholarships, a high value of hands-on experience including internships, many clubs, and just lots of opportunities to get involved. However, they were originally an Agriculture school so I really doubt there is anything medical related besides the vet program. The school is not prestigious but I really appreciate the hands-on experience approach they have.
