Hi my name is Kayla, I am currently a junior and I have a 2.6 GPA and im going to do more volunteering and get an AP class. Will my GPA or acceptance rate go up by the time I have to submit college applications?

Your gpa will definitely improve but since you鈥檙e adding one ap class and not several, probably won鈥檛 change it a lot. I just recommend trying to do well in most of your classes like getting b鈥檚. Show admissions counselors you have improved through high school! I did fairly bad my freshman year but each year my grades got better. Don鈥檛 let your past academics get you down just focus on what you can do now
Hello Kayla! If you do well in your AP class and non-AP credits, your GPA will certainly increase, and that will increase your chances of admission as well. If you're looking for colleges to attend, I'd recommend applying to in-state public colleges in the state you live in. Also, you might want to check out:
