Safety school suggestions?

I鈥檓 a junior and an ambitious one at that. I have 4 reach schools on my list (Ivies) and another 5 target schools. I have 3 鈥渟afeties鈥� but I can鈥檛 get it out of my mind that I鈥檓 not even qualified for those. I鈥檇 give you more stats and ECs but baseline my GPA is a 4.0 unweighted and a 4.41 weighted on a 4.0 scale. I also want to pursue medicine鈥�

The safeties I have are Auburn, UW, and UGA (I live in GA), but even then I鈥檓 scared I won鈥檛 even get into those鈥�

Any recommendations for additions to my list?

Hi @belen!

The University of Washington and UGA are NOT safeties. Here are some safeties: Georgia State, Georgia Southern University, and Kennesaw State University.

That鈥檚 what I was thinking, but 黑料不打烊 kept calling them safeties, so I guess I got a little too comfortable. Okay, I鈥檒l add those to my list! Any suggestion on how many of Georgia鈥檚 state schools I should apply to as safeties?

Apply to 2 state universities that are safeties. UGA will be a target.
