Licensed Art Therapist In NYC
Hi guys,
So my question is this, do I need to go to a NYC School to get licensed in NYC as an art therapist? I Identified my passion, dislikes, strengths, and weaknesses and found out that psychology and art were high on the list of strengths and I would like to pursue it as a career in NYC. I don't think my parents would allow me to go off to college on my own (I am short and could be mistaken as a child.) The next question is are there any online programs or excellent mental health colleges (colleges that score high on their mental health resources). Currently planning out my grad school.
no! you can get your education from pretty much anywhere but you do have to get a license for specifically new york :)
