What are some good schools for Marine Sciences?

Hi! I'm looking for schools to apply to, and I'm very interested in marine environments and oceanography. I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for me. Thanks!

- GPA: 4.0

- Class Rank 6/300

- 5 mentionable extracurriculars: I'm the founder of one and hold a leadership position in two others

- Looking for a medium to large college if possible.

I would definitely recommend University of Miami. As well, I think University of Wisconsin - Madison, would be a good likely school, and they have a really great marine science program and are right on one of the Great Lakes. I would also consider Boston University, as they also have a very strong marine program. The UCs also have good programs and good locations (I would specifically look at USC and UCLA). Also, Pomona College, its a small school but its within a community of the 5 Claremont Colleges, it has exceptional academics and good for marine science.

University of Miami seems to fit exactly what you want and seems realistic accoridng to what qualifications you have. Their marine sciences program is pretty big and they have a lot of space for hands on experiences. (And the campus is beautiful if it matters at all)
