Smith vs Wellesley vs ?

Hi, I'm would like to add at least one women's college to my college list, but I'm not sure which would be the best one.

My preferences/likes/nice-to-haves:

- smaller size (>10,000)

- new england

- music opportunities for non music majors

- study abroad

Unfortunately I don't yet know what I want to major in (which is making my search a bit more difficult), but I do know that I do not want to major in anything math or science-related (except maybe criminology). English, Business/Marketing, Classics/Western Civ, Criminology, they all sound good to me!

All 7 sister colleges (that are still all women鈥檚) fit into your preferences, other than Bryn Mawr which is in Pennsylvania and Barnard in NYC.

I really only know about Wellesley and Smith. For both schools (Barnard and Bryn Mawr) you can cross register at other colleges. Wellesley you can cross register at MIT, Babson and Brandeis. For Smith you can cross register at the 5 college consortium (Hampshire College, Mount Holyoke, Umass Amherst, Amherst, and Smith). At Bryn Mawr you can cross register at Haverford and Swarthmore. At Barnard you are basically a Columbia student.

All these colleges are located in very different settings and have very different environments. Nevertheless they are all very prestigious and have very academic environments.

I know people that have gone to Smith, Wellesley and Bryn Mawr and they all loved it.
